The Elgato Wave DX Dynamic Microphone from Elgato is designed to provide podcasters, streamers, and content creators with condenser-like audio performance without the noise. It has a stronger-than-average output signal and a forgiving cardioid polar pattern for unidirectional pickup, allowing you to get powerful sound without the need for in-line mic activators. This microphone is perfect for the current content creator since it has a frequency response that is particularly calibrated for the human voice and an optimized proximity effect that allows moving the mic in close for full, rich-sounding vocal recordings easier than ever. The Wave DX contains a reinforced steel chassis that improves durability and lowers internal noise artifacts, as well as an inbuilt pop filter that significantly minimizes plosives while recording. In addition to a 5/8" swiveling yoke mount that can be adjusted to fit any boom arm and prevent cable jams, this microphone also includes 3/8" and 1/4" adapters to install it on more conventional microphone stands.
